Before Vincere, our founder Bernie Schiemer, ran a recruitment business for 16 years (before it was sold to a global firm in a landmark acquisition). He had first-hand experience in using several of the well-known CRM/ATS platforms on the market, but was constantly frustrated by their high cost, awkward design and lack of support. He was looking for something more than just a database, he wanted a system of revenue. So in 2011, Vincere was born.

Bernie Schiemer
Bernie has 15 years of experience as a recruitment business owner. In 2001, he relocated from London to Tokyo to establish James Harvard International in Japan, which he grew from 3 to 115 staff in just under 6 years. As the first foreign company to launch a successful RPO business in Japan- under Bernie’s lead – James Harvard International became the pioneer of a previously unheard of concept in the Japanese business world.
In February 2007, Bernie sold the James Harvard International Japanese business to the UK largest staffing company, Hays PLC. Bernie successfully completed his earn-out in December 2009 as Managing Director of Hays Japan.
Post earn-out, Bernie switched gears to pursue his passion for technology. Having had the unique experience of working closely with recruitment firm owners and consultants, Bernie knew first-hand what recruitment businesses needed – a system that focuses on revenue; not just a system of record…& that’s how Vincere was born.
When he’s not working Bernie is happy kicking back, relaxing and watching his beloved Boston Celtics on the court.
Andi Taufiq

Andi Taufiq
Originally from Indonesia, Andi has taken the spot as Customer Director of Vincere, spearheading customer satisfaction initiatives for Vincere. Fluent in Japanese, Indonesian and English, he has a wealth of experience in software architecture, development and project management.
This cool-minded team player has swapped all that for new challenges at Vincere, and recently moved from Japan to our dev centre in Saigon where all the R&D magic happens. Andi now splits his time between strategizing Vincere technical vision and making sure our clients’ wishes becomes a virtual reality. Oh, and at technology-free times, sometimes MC Taufiq reaches for the microphone and is renowned for his prowess in the karaoke booth.
Jay Phan
Finance Manager
Jay Phan
Since joining Vincere in 2016, Jay has leaned on his previous experience in Social Enterprise finance and real estate in Silicon Valley to help improve processes and efficiencies in the finance department. As Finance Manager at Vincere, he manages the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Vincere for all offices, including our HQ in Singapore and Dev center in Vietnam, as well as our financial reporting and analysis.
Outside of work, Jay enjoys being active like surfing before/after work and exploring new places on his motorbike. Some day in the future, he’ll own a beach house, grab his board and ride the waves right from the moment he wakes up.
Eloise Sutton
Director of Growth
Eloise Sutton
Eloise leads Sales & Marketing at Vincere, working closely with the management team to make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. She brings 10 years of marketing experience and a background in recruiting to the table…plus a dash of social media mojo and recruitment-market savvy.
As employee #2 at Vincere, Eloise has played a pivotal role in the initial product design process. Prior to Vincere, Eloise joined leading global recruiting firm Michael Page International and took a bold step relocating from UK to Tokyo, where she moved into the world of marketing. Eloise graduated with a double first MA from Glasgow University in her native Britain and, when she’s not working, is indulging her love of travel, James Bond films and out-of-control addiction to spicy food.

Having graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Law, Sam previously produced global conferences in mobile games and international tax reporting. Today, he runs the Customer Success squad at Vincere. He makes sure users get fast, informative responses and maximum ROI out of their investment in their recruitment CRM/ATS. The word on the street is Vincere’s customer support is legendary.

Born and raised in Hanoi, Linh Dory moved to States and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. She returned to Vietnam to grow professionally, with a keen desire to put theories she’s learnt about Marketing, Sales and Entrepenership into practice.
As Business Development Executive at Vincere, Linh speaks to recruitment business owners from all over the world daily with one mission: to help recruitment companies grow and make more $$$.
When she’s not at her desk, you’ll probably find Linh at the pantry enjoying some icecream (P.S. Mint is her favourite) or at home binge-watching TV shows like Once Upon A Time. Besides her love for travelling, she enjoys making new friends and learning about the different cultures around the world.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Sohana Research Fund (SRF)
SRF is dedicated to finding effective treatments and cure for Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (RDEB). Founded in 2010 by Sharmila and James Collins, whose daughter Sohana has RDEB. Since then the fund has raised over £2 million which has been invested in peer-reviewed commissioned research and clinical trials.

The Heart of Angels
Founded in 2008, “Trái Tim Thiên Thần” (The Heart of Angels) is a charity group that focuses on improving the conditions of elementary schools and students in the difficult and remote locations of Vietnam. The charity supports the rebuilding and renovation of classrooms and playgrounds, including offering scholarships and organizing activities for the students.
